About The Itzamná Award
Since 2021, the Itzamná Award has recognized projects, initiatives, and solutions that have had a significant impact on the technological evolution of the national productive sector.
Starting in 2026, a new phase begins as the award joins Smart Technology Expo (STE), an international platform that connects technological and industrial ecosystems between Europe and the Americas, thereby strengthening its reach, visibility, and strategic positioning.
Inspired by Itzamná, a Mayan deity associated with knowledge and wisdom, the award symbolizes vision, innovation, and the ability to build the future through applied intelligence.
Objective
To recognize technology projects with real-world applications in Mexico that demonstrably contribute to:
Optimize industrial processes
Drive digital transformation
Improve energy efficiency and sustainability
Strengthen supply chains
Promote scalable innovation in the industrial sector
